” What is the best time to surf in Famara, Lanzarote? ” is a question many people ask. Lanzarote is an inviting island with mild temperatures and good weather all year round. However, our favourite season is autumn, also better known as the canary summer. With less wind and warmer water temperatures Famara beach is the choice from September to December, a period of time when we have mostly small and medium size swells and big swells every once in a while. Never the less, in the winter, spring and summer seasons you can surf in Famara with good conditions periodically.

The surf conditions in Famara

The waves in Famara beach are different and relatively easy to ride depending on the area we surf. Therefore, we are confident to say, that there are options from beginners to intermediate and advance level.
